About FastCAT:

HOLKC holds FastCAT events in late June and late August/early September each year in northern Wisconsin. See our main site page or the events page for more details.

FastCAT is an AKC licensed event. Based on CAT (Coursing Ability Test), FastCAT is a shorter, faster version of the same sport.

Click here to go to AKC's information on FastCAT.

From the AKC page:
Fast CAT - which stands for Fast Coursing Ability Test - is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. It's over before you know it - and it's nothing short of awe-inspiring to watch your dog run at top speed, ears back, eyes focused, legs strong.

In otherwords, if your dog loves to run and/or chase things, this could be a perfect sport for them.
Though AKC is a purebred registry, they allow All American (non purebreds) to enter performance sporting events such as this. So, any dog can participate.
This is a very popular activity, and just a lot of fun as well. See some of the images below from our past events.
